Collaborative family law helps divorcing couples stay in charge of their own divorce and negotiate a settlement without going to court.
The process came to England about four years ago and it is really taking off. The more people hear about it the more they want to take this dignified way forward.
As Family Consultant members of the Collaborative Family Law POD (group) for the Salisbury and Andover area we keep up-to-date with developments in this area of family law. We have been able to assist when couples choose this method of divorce.
We’re pleased to publish a number of articles about the process, based on information provided by CFL - Collaborative Family Lawyers:
How can you have an amicable divorce?
Does my divorce mean I’m a failure?
Will my finances survive my divorce?
Divorce and the family business
How can I divorce with dignity late in life?
Unmarried but in need of legal help and don’t know where to go?
You can read feedback from couples who have been through the collaborative process, and find out more about Collaborative Family Practice, the specially trained Collaborative Lawyers, Family Consultants and Financial Experts, in your area by visiting the CFL website
