One day training workshop for coaches
More than doubles the information, energy
and resources available to clients
Creates new learning opportunities, feedback loops and space for supervision for coaches
What is co-coaching ?
Co-Coaching happens when two coaches support a client or clients during a session.
There are parallels with the model of family conferencing where all the professionals involved meet with the family concerned to arrive at the best solution based on a shared understanding. This avoids any misunderstanding between the professionals and enables the client(s) to find a more encompassing solution.
When is co-coaching useful?
Co-Coaching is especially useful when you are coaching couples, two people locked in a dispute, or two people who work closely together:
Co-Coaching is also a development and supervision tool. All too often coaches are isolated once they have gone through their training. Observing another coach and being observed offers opportunities for ongoing development and constructive recommendations.
As with family conferencing, co-coaching is also a great way to bring together different skills, styles or expertise. This is really helpful when you want to inspire new or creative approaches, so that the sum of the coaching experience is greater than either person could have contributed individually.
